Landscaping/Snow Removal Technician

As a Landscaping/Snow Removal Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance of multiple property grounds by performing landscaping and snow removal work as assigned.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

● Responsible for the ongoing landscaping and snow removal of property grounds as assigned.

● Responsible for mowing, edging, watering, raking, pruning and fertilizing lawns.

● Responsible for weeding and mulching landscape beds.

● Responsible for trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs and removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees.

● Responsible for shoveling, plowing and piling snow.

● Responsible for applying sand, salt, or solutions to melt ice and snow

● Responsible for alerting the Property Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken

place or that may occur.

● Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.

● Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook.

● Adhere to all safety precautions.

● All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

● Projection of a professional image by following the dress code and appearance standards

● Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license w/insurance and a good driving record.

● A positive, upbeat attitude

● A work record of good attendance and punctuality

● Ability to work well independently and with a team.

● Good communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 1 year preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to: ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, load and unload equipment and tools into work vehicles, bending, crouching, and lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects.
